Preparing for Your COC Protocol Quarterly Review

What to expect:

  • Follow-up consultations almost always result in changes to dosage, cycling, and additions to your COC Protocol.
  • Your Care Oncology oncologist will need to review updated records at your follow-up appointment.  Records needed include:  new CBC, CMP, tumor markers, and an updated radiology report (if you have one).  If you have your records please upload them securely here.  You may also fax them to 310-943-0403 or email them to records@careoncology.com
  • WE ALSO HAVE A NEW ONLINE PORTAL

You will receive an Onpatient invitation emailed from our medical record system. Please select “check in” to your appointment and fill out the required forms to update the doctor on your treatment. You can fill out the form by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and selecting  “Click if this is a follow-up appointment with Care Oncology” to fill out the form and sign the necessary documents.

Please inform us of any changes to your care, as well as an update of new medications/supplements you are taking so we can include that in your folder for the doctor to review.

Why follow-ups are important:

  • In any instance of cancer progression, regression, or stability (no evidence of disease) our data shows it is important to stay on the COC Protocol medications.  The COC medications have the potential to change the statistics of your disease and potentiate other therapies.
  • Supervision by a Care Oncology oncologist, as well as our nursing team will ensure that you are taking the COC Protocol safely and effectively.

Some FAQs:

  • Follow-up appointments with your Care Oncology doctor occur every 3 months.
  • The cost of your follow-up consultation is $330.
  • Our oncology nurses are available to you in between appointments to provide support and guidance.  As a current Care Oncology patient, our nurses are available to you for ongoing support.  You may email them at support@careoncology.com.
