Trainings for professionals and volunteers working in oncology related settings including survivorship and physical concerns, self-care, psychosocial concerns, communication skills, and wellness practices.
Kristin Wohlschlagel, RN
An experienced and compassionate nurse, specializing in Oncology and Hospice/Palliative care. She is well-versed in both conventional and alternative or integrative therapies. She has advanced knowledge in the use of medicinal cannabis for both symptom management as well as integrative care protocols for serious chronic diseases.
Rebecca Gardella, RN
I am a chemotherapy, biotherapy certified registered nurse, licensed in the state of Ohio. I have 17 years current experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, monoclonal antibody, hematology and other related infusion administration and monitoring. I have 2 years current experience in Radiation patient care, assessing, evaluating and teaching.
Joan Rogers Jackson, RN, MS, CSN
School Nurse at Smoky Hill High School and then Thunder Ridge Middle School. In addition, Psychiatric Nurse on Mental Health Team for four years at Smoky Hill High School. Daily nursing clinical care of infants, children, adolescents and adult staff with acute and chronic medical needs; coordinated liaison with families, and community resources, conducted special education assessments, and psychiatric/mental health/medical nursing consultations throughout the school district. Retired in May of 2018.
Kathleen Hansen, RN
I am a highly experienced RN and compassionate health coach/educator with many years of clinical experience. I have experience supporting cancer patients in a variety of settings, remotely and in-person. I have a thorough understanding of both conventional and evidence based holistic/integrative approaches to cancer treatment.
